Catur Muka Statue

Patung Catur Muka (statue of four faces) was built in 1973, designed by a famous sculptor named ‘I Gusti Nyoman Lempad’ from the village of Ubud Gianyar. Catur Muka statue is located right at the intersection of street : Gajah Mada-Soerapatti-Udayana-Veteran. This statue has four heads, with four faces to the four cardinal directions, therefore it is called the ‘Catur Muka’, as a symbol of Brahma manifestation of God as creator of the world and its contents.
