Bali Museum is located in downtown Denpasar, exactly Major Vishnu street, on the east of Puputan Badung park and south of Jagatnatha Grand Temple. The museum has and exhibiting objects prehistoric culture that reflects all elements of Balinese culture, made up of collections of archeology, historika, art and ethnografika.
There are three main building to showcase the museum’s collection.
- Karangasem Building
East Bali style architecture to showcase a collection of ceremonies Panca Yadnya.
- Denpasar Building
Central Bali style architecture to showcase a collection of prehistoric, history and art.
- Buleleng Building
North Bali style architecture to showcase a collection of traditional fabrics.
Since its establishment until now, the Bali Museum is always visited by tourists from home and abroad, the students, artists and ordinary people who want to conduct research, find inspiration and recreation.
